Complaints and Appeals Process
The IUSG election process ensures fairness and accountability through a structured complaints and appeals procedure. Individuals or tickets with credible evidence of an election violation must file a formal complaint with the Supreme Court, using the official complaint form below, within 24 hours of the voting period's end. Complaints must include detailed evidence, adhere to privacy laws, and follow the guidelines outlined in the IUSG bylaws.
Once submitted, the complaint is reviewed by a three-Justice panel, randomly assigned by the Clerk of the Supreme Court. The panel investigates, deliberates privately, and issues a ruling, which is made public on the IUSG website.
If a ruling negatively impacts a party, they may petition the full Supreme Court for reconsideration, provided the petition meets the criteria specified in the bylaws. The Supreme Court’s decisions are final and binding, ensuring transparency and resolution in the election process.
For detailed information, candidates are encouraged to consult the IUSG bylaws and the Campaign Guide.
