Mr. Gallegos has served five consecutive terms in Congress, three of them as Chair of the Equity & Justice Committee. They have authored legislation that condemns gun violence, advocates for fair student wages, honors Indigenous lands, supports LGBTQ+ & BIPOC students, protects DEIA, and empowers women’s reproductive health.
