How are Representatives Selected?
The Student Body Congress is made up of 20 academic seats, 20 residential seats, and a varying number of multicultural-organization seats. Congress is responsible for establishing academic and residential districts (based on students' schools and places or residence, respectively) and for regularly allocating the 20 academic and 20 residential seats among those districts according to the latest student population numbers. Multicultural organizations can apply for seats in Congress at the beginning of each term, and each admitted organization gets one seat in Congress for one year.
