I'm a non-traditional, first-generation, adult re-entry, independent student and neurodivergent learner. I recently transferred back to Indiana University Bloomington after working full-time, and attending community college at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA, where I studied Film & TV Production. I recently joined IUSG Congress to fill a vacancy in off-campus housing. This session, I will be serving as a multicultural representative for non-traditional students at IUB, and I am grateful to IUSG for their willingness to include non-traditional students as a demographic worth supporting in student government. I hope to advance policymaking initiatives on behalf of non-traditional students at IUB, and have recently drafted a proposal outlining access barriers at IUB for these students, including academic honors, financial aid, advising, and parking needs. I am also the President of the Organization for Non-Traditional Students at IUB.
