Isabel is a sophomore studying Healthcare Management and Policy in SPEA and Public Health. She grew up in the Wrigleyville area of Chicago, loves pasta, and regularly FaceTimes her dog, Kodi. She's been incredibly fortunate to be the President of the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) on Campus, the former IUSA Chief of Health and Wellbeing, and a student representative for the Student Wellness Alliance with the Health Center. Since living in the Civic Leaders Center as a freshman, she's volunteered with Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington and Fairview Elementary School to talk about mental health and tutor elementary students. Isabel passionately believes that students should come first in every discussion -from CAPS fees to dining hall food to new student housing construction- and that the best decisions are those that include student input.
