Bust the Stigma around Mental Illness
The Green Bandana Project is a big ten initiative aimed to end the stigma behind mental health through visual allyship.
When do we hand out bandanas? We hand out bandanas around Culture of Care week in the fall and around spring break in the spring. Check out social medias!
Who can take a bandana? Anyone who wants to show their support for mental health and ending the stigma.
What does the bandana symbolize? The bandanas are green for national mental health awareness. Bandanas are easy to tie around your backpack so it's always visible. Anyone wearing a green bandana on their backpack does so to show their allyship and support for people living with mental illness.
